Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown bemoans ‘diminishment of patient care’

The provincial government is “slowly and quietly” dismantling patient care in health organizations, argues Ontario Progressive Conservative Leader Patrick Brown.

With hospitals cutting staff across the province and a Barrie long-term care home and others seeking cash to improve care, where would any new funds come from?

“We’re seeing the greatest diminishment of patient care we’ve ever seen in our province,” said Brown.

“It’s about priorities. Health care’s not a priority for (Health and Long-Term Care Minister) Eric Hoskins and (Ontario Premier) Kathleen Wynne.”
